— Sydney, Australia
Looking back at my trip to Sydney last October, I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit this spectacular country while its beauty remained. It’s truly upsetting to hear about the current bushfires that have ravaged large parts of the continent – where more than 15 million acres of land has been scorched, over 1,000 homes destroyed and half a billion animals lost their lives, including one third of the koala population. Experts say that it would take over a century to absorb the CO2 released! So this photo story is a mere reminder of how beautiful our planet is and that we need to take care of it, because climate change is real.
Hope you enjoy these highlights…

My thoughts and prayers are with the citizens of Australia and especially those that have lost their homes.
