2 Days in Bangkok

This weekend, I flew down to Bangkok for two days to visit my sister, brother-in-law and the kids. Super spontaneous and definitely the shortest holiday of my life (which apparently is not uncommon for us Hong Kongers that have to make the most of their annual leaves) – I think I underestimated how much one can get done in the span of 48 hours!

In two days, I was able to visit two of the most popular and famous traditional temples – The Grand Palace and Wat Pho, enjoy a sundowner by Wat Arun, get a Thai massage, bargain with tuk tuk drivers, devour authentic street-food, cross the buzzing Chao Phraya River by boat – all while spending so much quality-time with my niece and nephew! Coconuts, Pad Thai noodles and beautiful weather aside, below is a quick visual recap of my time spent in the sprawling capital of Thailand:
